Johor Premium Outlets marks 15 years of Genting Simon in Malaysia with a four-day Anniversary Sale from 10 to 13 September 2026. The official JPO homepage banner and mStar both put selected stores at up to 80% off. JPO is the one that stays open until midnight on 11 and 12 September. Genting Highlands Premium Outlets stays on its usual 10am to 10pm window all four days.

Treat the homepage names as confirmed for JPO. Treat the extra mStar names as participating across the two Malaysian centres unless the store window says otherwise when you walk in.

Free food and the games that are not the sale
mStar lists Shake & Score and Strike It Fast as free family games with prizes, plus complimentary cotton candy and popcorn while stocks last. At JPO the free food-and-drink sampling is from Baskin-Robbins, DOME Cafe, Marrybrown and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Genting Highlands gets Auntie Anne's, BOOST, Krispy Kreme and The Coffee Bean. Do not assume the JPO list if you are driving up the hill instead.
JPO opened in 2011 as the first Premium Outlets centre in Southeast Asia. Genting Highlands followed in 2017. Jakarta Premium Outlets opened in 2025. Jean Marie Pin Harry, president and chief operating officer of Genting Simon, framed the four days as a thank-you to shoppers, brand partners and the community. That is corporate language. The practical difference for a JB or Singapore car is the two midnight nights, which you do not get at the highland centre.
Parking fills early on Saturday night when the centre runs to midnight. Kulai is about 30 to 40 minutes from CIQ in light traffic, longer on a sale weekend. Check the official event page for participating stores before you leave, because the 80% figure is selected merchandise, not every rack.
