Food was good enough, taste was not bad, prawn cake at 14.90 rm was tasty, laksa at 17.90, fishball noodle at 15.50 had 2 fishballs only though there were other ingredients and taste was ok. Service was not really up to standard as I felt …

I had gone to their restaurant at Taman Sentosa - Ah Koong Restaurant- the first time, and tried their yong tau fu. It was delicious, especially the deep fried prawn cake. I didn't realise that they had an outlet at JB City Square. I popped by here, and ordered their dry version with mee pok. At this place, you don't pick out the pieces yourself, but you can order what you want. Or go with a standard order like I did. The prawn cake is still the best, and I also like their mini ngoh hiang fish roll. The prawn cake cost RM14.50, the same price as my dried mee pok with yong tau fu. Not exactly cheap, but still affordable. Their restaurant is more comfortable and fun to eat in; air conditioning really blasting 😆. But a bit out of the way unless you're driving. Their TV screens indicate they supply Fairprice and Sheng Siong. When I enquired, as of the time of this review (30 July 2025), it's only the dried packet laksa noodles of theirs. Not their yong tau fu.

Love the noodles at this place. The chewy-ness, the springy taste of the noodles give it an additional texture that enhances it's flavour.
