The place was clean and I noted they wiped tables properly after a customer left. By default if I come to Aeon I would definitely visit this restaurant. I ordered their signature hainanese chicken rice ball. Years ago before covid this item could even be sold out and not available all the time. The presentation of the chicken rice was beautiful. Each item was seated nicely in a slot on a tray. However they didn't include dark sauce and had to be requested separately. The ginger and chilli condiments were nice. Chicken was tender. The rice, however was not very warm. Also overall the quantity wasn't a lot and I wasn't very full as an adult male. I had wanted to order hot coffee and wrongly interpreted the last column as largest but it really meant iced. Iced coffee was 5.70 rm while chicken was 16.90 rm.

Tried Tea Garden again after stopping for almost 2 years on CNY eve @ Bukit Indah outlet. The waiting time is much shorter now compared to previous. Food wise it is ok above average. But the bun with peanut butter is so so small. Price is on the high side though.

Compared to Oriental Kopi, this is like 10 times better…not sure why there’s always a queue over there. The curry was good and the potatoes were fried or pan fried, the fried rice was delicious, the only complaint is the carrot cake, it tasted like overnight dish. Other than that, everything was pretty good!
